  1. Stormblåst (Storm Blown) is taken from when Dimmu Borgir was actually releasing some pretty good music, which was influenced by the likes of In the Night Side Eclipse and wasn't influenced by such faggotery ala COF.
  2. Stormblåst is a flawed album, but holds a degree of distinctiveness in the Dimmu Borgir catalog, mostly because it sounds so far removed from the band that would later record with both the Prague Philharmonic and (hilariously) the guy from Old Man’s Child.

  5. "Sorgens kammer" is a cover of a song taken from an Amiga game called Agony. Stian Aarstad stole the melody, but didn't tell anyone about it. The band always thought it was their own song until the original composer contacted them, so they decided to not use it on Stormblåst MMV. The piano intro of "Alt lys er svunnet hen" is stolen from the Magnum song "Sacred Hour," from 's Chase the.
  6. Aug 31,  · Nothing is scary about Dimmu Borgir today. At its best Stormblåst is mildly provocative, catchy for an early dip into the symphonic black metal scene and sometimes pretty hilarious as far as lyrical content goes. It also sounds suspiciously like they had to record the album trough a wall, or on the bottom of a huge bottle(?)/5(43).
